Packed with surprises – Good and Bad
Impeccable service made my stay delightful, with warm staff ensuring a comfortable experience. Plus, the Residence Club had heavenly dumplings and stunning views!
Language barriers caused some confusion during check-in,, and breakfast variety could use enhancement.

The carpet in the Superior Room had noticeable stains, and the shower leaked from the wall, which is hardly what you'd expect for a five-star rating. The mattress felt excessively firm, almost like lying on wood, which my partner didn't mind, but it could be a dealbreaker for some. The smart TV was mostly useless for streaming services available in China, and the need to purchase a shower cap to use the pool seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience. Expired food products in the room didn't inspire confidence either.

Recommend it for solo travelers seeking luxury
Checked in late and ended up upgraded to a huge suite. The deep soaking bathtub? Life changing, I just sank in and forgot about time, my own little paradise.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for the experience, I say it’s worth it.

My stay at New World Beijing Hotel was memorable for both its highlights and a few letdowns. The staff impressed me tremendously. Fisher, the Chief Concierge, and Lily from the front desk were incredibly helpful with airport transfers and ticket bookings. They made the check-in process effortless. My room was spacious and elegantly furnished, ensuring a comfortable escape after busy days. The Residence Club lounge had a fantastic vibe. I enjoyed the happy hour and the good food selection. However, I did encounter issues. Access to the rooftop bar was restricted due to private events, which was disappointing. Additionally, the air conditioning was shut off during my stay, making for a dry and uncomfortable room. I asked for a humidifier but was told they didn’t have any available. Breakfast had room for improvement. While there were decent options, the quality seemed rushed, and some dishes didn’t meet expectations. Overall, I loved the service and room quality but felt the amenities could use enhancement.

central base for exploring beijing’s attractions and parks
During my stay, I appreciated how close I was to the mesmerizing Temple of Heaven, just about 2.5 km away for a pleasant stroll, and I found plenty of delightful dining options like XiBei YouMian Cun, only a few steps from the hotel, making every meal an adventure. the only downside was the wifi, which could use some improvement but didn't take away from my experience too much.

Best stay in Beijing!
Had an awesome time here! The room was huge and super comfy, and the staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good, and we loved the rooftop bar, although it was too chilly to sit outside. Just a little noisy sometimes from the other rooms, but it wasn't a big deal.
